Acts 4:10,12
then know this, you and all the people of Israel: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified but whom God raised from the dead, that this man stands before you healed.Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”
Application:
If they wanted to know how a lame man had been healed, Peter made it clear: It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified and whom God raised from the dead—by him this man stands here before you healthy (Acts 4:9–10).
Jesus fulfills Psalm 118:22; he is the stone rejected by the Jewish leaders, becoming the cornerstone, the stone on which the rest of the building relies (Acts 4:11). The only way to evade the implications of their actions is to repent and turn to the risen Lord Jesus, the one they had killed.*
Peter concluded by telling the leaders that salvation is found in no one else. There is no other name under heaven given to people by which we must be saved. Names in the Bible are not simply titles; they reflect the person.
The name Jesus is the Greek version of the Hebrew name Joshua, meaning “The Lord saves.” Jesus’s name, therefore, reflects who he is, what he has done, and what he can do. Salvation from sin, death, and hell is found in Him alone.*
Paul wrote in the letter to the Philippians:
Philippians 2:10-11
that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Disclaimer
When God inspires me, I write blogs. Consider this writing as a Bible study. Like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, search the Scriptures to determine whether what I write is so. Always consult with your church ministers about biblical matters. I am also not a professional writer, so some grammar or spelling errors may be present. I try my best to write as efficiently as possible. Your brother in Christ, Ricardo
