Faith Warriors Bible Study

by Ricardo

Faith Warriors,

Our next Bible Study will be on Wednesday, May 6, from 3:30 to 5:30 PM at Franklin Park. The address is listed in the Church Center app. Contact me if you need it.

Mike will lead this Bible study session while I travel for a week, and I will miss you all!

Please print the lesson plan when it becomes available so you can follow along during our study.

Administration notes:

  1. We want to hear your testimony! Prepare a 15-minute presentation to let us know before Bible study how God has worked in your life! Revelation 12:11: And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death.
  2. Remember! We are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20)! Everything we do will honor or bring shame to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, our pastors, our group, and the church!
  3. Please send me your prayer requests through email, text, or the Church Center application so I can update the list.
  4. Sunday Nights, 5-6:30 PM, is our commitment to help every person take a meaningful next step, no matter where you are on your faith journey. Whether you’re new to Cornerstone, new to the Christian faith, or ready to go deeper, there’s a place for you to grow, belong, and be equipped. Grow strong in your faith. Walk confidently in your calling.

  5. Pastoral care is available for all, free of charge. Please take advantage of this ministry. Do not give the devil a foothold in your marriage; he comes to kill, steal, and destroy. Do not allow him.

  6. If you require a hospital visitation from the church, please call 210-490-1600 to request one.
  7. Please let me know if you have not been baptized or desire to be baptized. Baptism is not required for salvation; however, once we are saved, we must walk in obedience to Jesus Christ to be empowered by the Holy Spirit.
  8. If you plan to bring finger food for the Bible study, let us know; if not, I will bring water and cookies.

Birthdays for the week of May 4-10 (If your birthday is not listed, please email me directly, or text me your date of birth).

Anniversaries for this week (If your anniversary is not listed, please email directly or text me your anniversary date (Day, Month, Year)):

No Anniversaries this week.

The lesson plan will be available in the Church Center app or on the web portal at  https://global-evangelism-inc-492452.churchcenter.com/home

Please bookmark this link.

I hope to see you then to explore and grow in God’s Word together, to pray for each other’s needs, to celebrate and encourage one another with what God is doing in our lives, and to grow closer to Jesus Christ.

Please let me know if you plan to attend.
Please RSVP in the Church Center app to help us plan for attendance.

2 Corinthians 4:5-7

For what we preach is not ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus’ sake. For God, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of God’s glory displayed in the face of Christ. But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us.

PS

Remember that adaptability and flexibility are signs of Spiritual maturity.

To God be the glory!

Our Lord Jesus Christ created everything! By Him, For Him!

“The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; The Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” Numbers 6:24-26

When God inspires me, I write blogs. Consider this writing as a Bible study. Like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, search the Scriptures to determine whether what I write is so. Always consult with your church ministers about biblical matters. I am also not a professional writer, so some grammar or spelling errors may be present. I try my best to write as efficiently as possible. Your brother in Christ, Ricardo
