Ephesians 6:12-13
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
Application:
Our flesh-and-blood foes are simply tools of Satan; the true adversary lurking behind them is Satan himself, with whom we are in conflict. The devil and countless demons manipulate ordinary people who do not believe in Jesus Christ, our Lord, and Savior, to do their bidding. In 1 Corinthians 4:4, the devil is called the god of this age, holding captive the minds and souls not transformed by the Spirit of God. Jesus Christ came to bring freedom to the captives (Isaiah 61:1) through His redeeming blood shed on the cross. In John 12:31, Jesus proclaimed, “Now is the judgment of this world; now the ruler of this world will be cast out.” The quotation marks were added.
By His shed blood, Jesus Christ gives us victory against the powers and principalities of wickedness in heavenly places, and we can bring down strongholds and everything that sets itself against God and His truth (2 Corinthians 10:3-5).
The day of evil occurs when Satan attempts to rob us of the joy of our salvation, seeking to defeat us and render Christians ineffective in our Kingdom work (Luke 22:31). We can withstand the day of evil by utilizing the two weapons that God has provided for us to stand firm: the Sword of the Spirit (the Holy Bible) and Prayer (Ephesians 6:17-18).
We can stand firm, knowing that the battle belongs to the Lord (1 Samuel 17:47). Trust Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior today, and keep His commandments.

Disclaimer
When God inspires me, I write blogs. Consider this writing as a Bible study. Like the Bereans In Acts 17:11, search the Scriptures to determine whether what I write is so. Always consult with your church ministers about biblical matters. I am also not a professional writer, so some grammar or spelling errors may be. I try my best to write as efficiently as possible.
