Meditation For Easter Week

“Come to me,” my Savior said
White hanging on that tree
It is for you I gave My life
In pain and agony.

“The joy of living in your heart
Was ever on my mind
The joy of joining God and man
In a union so Divine.

“You in me and I in you
With the Father we are one
Can you imagine all the love
I have for you, my son.

“Yes, the glory set before me
Was present there that day;
I clearly understood my task
There was no other way.

“The blood that brought God’s grace to man
Was mine and mine alone
And that is why I still cry out
To make the world my own.

“There is no reason man should die
And never see my face
For I have paid the price with love
And given you my grace.”

“This Easter when you think of me
And all that I have done
Just let my light so shine through you
That many might be won”
