My Desire

I want to be a Christian
One who proudly wears Your name
A witness before all the world
Your death was not in vain

I want your joy, Lord Jesus
To radiate my soul
To be a yielded vessel
Where Your love will overflow

I want to see a difference
In the life I live today
Than when I walked among the lost
And followed my own way

I want to share the love of Christ
With everyone I see
So they will know the peace and joy
You have given me

The presence of Your spirit
Will it illuminate my path
Through valleys or on mountaintops
Where ere my foot shall pass

So fill me with Your spirit
And let me walk in faith
Equip me so that my life will be
A trophy of Your Grace, Amen
