Romans 8:38-39
For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Application:
Paul reminds us that God has chosen and justified us, and his Son answers any indictment brought against us.
Paul celebrates the love of God in Christ for us. It is as impossible to separate us from that love as it is to bring a charge against us. No earthly peril or disaster can do so (Romans 8:35–36). Though such suffering can be expected, as Paul reminds us with his quotation of Psalm 44:22, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.
Nor can any spiritual power—angels, principalities, and powers as mentioned in verse 38—separate us from God’s love. The Greek terms are “angelos, archē, and dynamis.” They signify unseen supernatural forces. These principalities and powers are addressed in Ephesians 6:10-12, where Paul explains that our struggle is not against flesh and blood but against these spiritual forces in heavenly realms.
Indeed, nothing in all creation can remove us from the new regime in which God’s love in Christ reigns over us.
Let us completely surrender our will to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and obey Him. He cannot be our Savior if He is not our Lord! (Matthew 7:21-23)

To God, be the glory!
Our Lord Jesus Christ created everything! By Him, For Him!
