Psalm 59:16 
But I will sing of Your power;
Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning;
For You have been my defense
And refuge in the day of my trouble. 

Application: 

Despite his enemies circling him, snarling like dogs (Psalm 59:14), David was determined to joyfully proclaim [God’s] faithful love each morning. This is a wonderful way to start your day—looking to God’s faithful love for the strength to make it through the next twenty-four hours. The faithful God is your strength (Psalm 59:17).*

When we make Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we become children of God (John 1:12) and heirs of the Kingdom of God (Romans 8:17). As obedient children, the Holy Spirit dwells within us, empowering us to achieve victory in any battle. Jesus secured that victory on the cross, and we proclaim His triumph in faith.

Paul, speaking of every vile trial we encounter, wrote,

If God is for us, who can be against us?
Romans 8:31

No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:37-39

Trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior! He is a very present help in trouble! Psalm 46:1-2
