2 Corinthians 3:6
who also made us sufficient as ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
Application:
Although his gospel ministry was effective, Paul recognized his own insufficiency. His complete confidence was in God, who is capable of making us adequate to fulfill His kingdom purposes (3:4–5). The Lord had made Paul a skilled servant of the new covenant. The letter of the law exposes our sinful inability to obey it and condemns us. However, through Christ’s new covenant sacrifice, the Spirit brings life and transformation to those who believe (3:6).
Replace your self-confidence with God-confidence. No matter your personal skills and abilities, you cannot achieve spiritual results through earthly means. Jesus provides us with the sufficiency to live a victorious Christian life, so submit to your omnipotent King and humbly rely on the power of the Holy Spirit so that he can carry out his kingdom plans through you.
The old covenant ministry… brought death because the sinful hearts of the people could not keep the law. However, glory accompanied the old covenant when God’s glory shone on Moses’s face as he spent time in His presence (3:7; see Exod 34:29–32). So, if a ministry that ultimately brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious must the new covenant ministry be since it brings righteousness (3:8–9)?
In fact, the glorious ministry of Jesus Christ far surpasses the old covenant, making the latter not even glorious by comparison (3:10). Therefore, any effort to return to the law and the old covenant for righteousness and transformation is a spiritually backward step. In contrast, the new covenant transforms sinners into saints and endures forever (3:11).

When God inspires me, I write blogs. Consider this writing as a Bible study. Like the Bereans in Acts 17:11, search the Scriptures to determine whether what I write is so. Always consult with your church ministers about biblical matters. I am also not a professional writer, so some grammar or spelling errors may be present.
