Secret Christians? No More!

…I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. Luke 12:8

In Memory of Charlie Kirk

Welcome to my Blog!

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

My wife once lost a customer when she made a Facebook post honoring Jesus Christ and the Word of God. The customer confronted her and said that our faith should be kept to ourselves and only expressed in a church environment. However, my wife did not back down and continued honoring Jesus and speaking as a witness to Jesus at work and in public. She knows God’s promises and understands that when she loses one customer for the sake of Jesus, God will restore her losses, sometimes double what she lost.

Our nation’s founders call us “One Nation Under God.” Yet, today, those willing to serve the Lord Jesus Christ are intimidated by Satan’s servants (Read Ephesians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 11:14) masquerading as government agents, family members, friends, and even religious people. These entities seek to silence Christians and force us to keep our faith to ourselves.

Separation of Church and State Not in the Constitution!

These evil entities invent ways to silence believers during election cycles by claiming the separation of church and state. This term is not in the Constitution; it was a letter sent by godless lawyers, and lawyers use it to intimidate us. They know a Christian vocal witness for Jesus Christ can be an agent for good in this country and worldwide.

The Constitution does say that government cannot establish a religion, in other words, force a religion on the people. However, the Constitution allows us to exercise our religious rights without government interference. This is what Charlie Kirk was fighting for. He was a threat to the liberal agenda, the progressive ideas, and the globalist movement, so they had him executed to silence the light. Yet, we will not be silent, we will not be a secret church, we are a triumphant church.

Understand this, my friend, if every person who claims to be a Christian starts behaving like a Christian in public, boldly representing the Lord Jesus Christ, the God this nation was founded upon, then this nation will see a revival overnight (Read 2 Chronicles 7:14).

Evil is parading itself in America as victorious over the Church of God. Why? Believers are told to keep their faith private. When good people stay silent, evil is triumphant. Watch the news today and see this in action. Not voting in elections does not excuse us from our responsibility and accountability before God. A “No Vote” by a Christian is a vote for evil.

When Christians do not vote, especially in local elections, godless leaders get into office. They then set out to pass policies that affect all of us, pass godless laws, and appoint judges who are soft on crime.

I am a fan of the James Bond 007 spy movies. What is the tagline in the films?

“In Her Majesty Secret Service.”

The Bible does not teach that we must be secret agents for Christ. However, it does say we are to pick up and carry our cross daily for Christ (Luke 9:23) and that we must be witnesses for Jesus (Confess Jesus) (Matthew 28:19).

“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith which we preach):  that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.  For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” Romans 10:8-11

The word “confess” in this verse does not mean to “declare.” It means, in Greek, “to say the same things as.” In my opinion, the King James version has this translation correct. The verse tries to say that when evil confronts us, we “say the same thing as” Jesus in everyday life. Have you ever experienced a son imitating his dad in everything he says? He trusts his dad and “confesses” him, saying the same thing as his dad.

Jesus Christ is our Creator, so we must read His Word to find out what He says, what He is all about, and what He expects of us. The word is in our mouths and our hearts. Whatever is in our hearts will come out of our mouths.

Who do we fear that we must stay quiet?

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ Isaiah 41:10

Not confessing our Lord Jesus has to do with fear—fear of being labeled a nonconformist, a fascist, a bigot, losing friends, losing a job, losing customers, etc. Jesus knows when the enemy makes us a target, and He has promised to reimburse us for any loss incurred by us because of our witness to Him, and with more than before.

And everyone who has left houses or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My name’s sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and inherit eternal life. Matthew 19:29

As Joshua, the leader of Israel after Moses, told the people of Israel, there is only one person we must fear. This fear is not to be afraid of Him but to reverence God.

“Now fear the Lord and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the Lord. But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.” Joshua 24:14-15

If serving Jesus is too hard for us, if speaking about Him hinders our way of life, my friends, a choice must be made. Mental knowledge of Jesus does not save us (James 2:19). Instead, that knowledge must make it to our hearts, cause us to repent, makes us bold as lions, and bring us to saving faith.

As for me and my household, we will serve the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel!

Charlie Kirk, my brother, you fought the good fight (1 Timothy 6:12)!
Good and faithful servant (Matthew 25:23)!

Stand up, Christians! Time to fight the good fight of faith, not with violence, not with arrogance, but speaking the truth in love, and lots ofprayers for the lost.

God bless you, my friend!

To God, be the glory!

Everything was created by our Lord Jesus, By Him, For Him!
