Praise to God

Isaiah 25:1
O Lord, You are my God.
I will exalt You,
I will praise Your name,
For You have done wonderful things;
Your counsels of old are faithfulness and truth.

Application:

The prophet Isaiah, reflecting on those great and glorious prophecies he had delivered regarding the destruction of his enemies, the protection and deliverance of his people, the sending of the Messiah, and the establishment of his own kingdom despite all opposition, interrupts the flow of his prophecies and breaks forth into a solemn celebration of all these wonderful works (Isaiah 25:1-12).

Your ancient counsels are faithfulness and truth, from which all your works arise. These counsels have been revealed to your prophets and people throughout time. Conceived in eternity and made known long ago through your threats and promises, they are true and steadfast; therefore, they will certainly be fulfilled.

Isaiah recorded the reaction of the righteous to the announcement of Christ’s coming millennial kingdom.

The Lord is praised because his judgment on the wicked and salvation for the righteous are part of plans formed long ago and executed with perfect faithfulness (25:1).

Politicians often make promises, particularly during election campaigns. However, these promises are frequently unfulfilled.

In contrast, the faithful God has never made a promise He will not keep.

Praise be to God!

To God be the glory!

When God inspires me, I write blogs. Consider this writing as a Bible study. Like the Bereans In Acts 17:11, search the Scriptures to determine whether what I write is so. Always consult with your church ministers about biblical matters. I am also not a professional writer, so some grammar or spelling errors may be. I try my best to write as efficiently as possible.
