Jeremiah 29:11-13
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Application:
God promised to restore His people once the seventy years of captivity ended (29:14, 10). Many Christians know Jeremiah 29:11, yet they are unfamiliar with its context.
This is God’s promise to bless His people amidst a pagan culture. Its significance deepens when understood in the context of exile, where hope seems absent (29:11). Notice, however, that this promise was contingent upon God’s people seeking Him in a new manner:
You will … find Me when you search for Me with all your heart (29:13).
The world’s economic titans and power brokers cannot help us like God can, but enjoying this kind of blessing requires seeking God wholeheartedly. This demands more than attending church on Sunday, tapping our feet to the music, hearing a sermon, and saying, “Amen.”
Unless we devote our hearts to the Lord fully, we will be no different twelve months from now. However, when we worship and obey the Lord in our daily walk with Him, He is ready to communicate with us and even transform our circumstances.

Disclaimer
When God inspires me, I write blogs. Consider this writing as a Bible study. Like the Bereans In Acts 17:11, search the Scriptures to determine whether what I write is so. Always consult with your church ministers about biblical matters. I am also not a professional writer, so some grammar or spelling errors may be. I try my best to write as efficiently as possible.
