Galatians 6:1
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourselves, or you also may be tempted.
Application:
Am I my brother’s keeper? This is the question Cain asked God after killing Abel (Genesis 4:9).
The Biblical answer is yes, in two ways.
First, we must not commit acts of violence against one another. This includes violence of the tongue, such as gossip, and various forms of conflict, including quarreling, jealousy, outbursts of anger, factions, slander, arrogance, and disorder (2 Corinthians 12:20).
Second, we should show brotherly love towards our brothers and sisters in Christ with tender hearts and humble minds (1 Peter 3:8). In this way, we “keep” those for whom Christ gave His life.
Sometimes, love must correct, admonish, or reprove (2 Thessalonians 3:13-15; Matthew 18:15). However, correction should always be done in a spirit of love aimed at reconciliation.
When we walk in the light, the Holy Spirit may guide us to help a fallen brother or sister who has strayed into sin, bringing them back to the light. We do this gently, without accusing others as though we are holier than they are. Thus, as Christians, we are to be our brother’s keeper.
As Paul wrote, “Therefore let us pursue the things which make for peace and the things by which one may edify (build up) another” (Romans 14:19).

When God inspires me, I write blogs. Consider this writing as a Bible study. Like the Bereans In Acts 17:11, search the Scriptures to determine whether what I write is so. Always consult with your church ministers about biblical matters. I am also not a professional writer, so some grammar or spelling errors may be. I try my best to write as efficiently as possible.
